As of today, the first Open workout of the 2020 season is done. Every one of us did it, and I bet everyone hated it. It is a simple workout, but very effective in showing the limits of your fitness. At latest after 5 minutes everyone knew what type of workout this is. 😁 So, here’s just a quick reminder:
For time: 10 rounds of
8 ground-to-overhead
10 bar-facing burpees.
Time cap is 15min.
That’s it. So simple, so much pain. Check the official description at games.crossfit.com.
For the men, the top 3 positions are Lefteris Theofanidis with a time of 8:05, Cédric Lapointe with a time of 8:16 and Björgvin Karl Guðmundsson with a time of 8:16.
For the women, the top 3 positions are Emma McQuaid with the only sub-8 min time at 7:41, followed by Samantha Briggs with a time of 8:01 and Ragnheiður Sara Sigmundsdottir with a time of 8:11.
As usual, we have some unfamiliar names in the top 20 on both the men and women leaderboard, but over the next 4 weeks I expect a lot of familiar names creep up in the top ranks.
